AISF Members Detained for Protest at CBSE Office in Anna Nagar

On Monday, the Greater Chennai Police detained 16 members of the All India Students’ Federation (AISF) who staged a protest in front of the CBSE regional office located in Anna Nagar. The protest was conducted without prior permission, leading to the detention of the participants. The protestors were demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, alleging irregularities in the CBSE examinations and a leak of the NEET question paper. During the protest, the AISF members displayed placards with slogans critical of the Union government. After being detained, the protestors were later released by the police. This incident highlights ongoing concerns and dissatisfaction among student groups regarding the conduct of national examinations and the administration's handling of these issues.
