46-year-old man found dead inside luxury car in Koramangala 8th Block, heart attack suspected

A 46-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances inside his parked luxury car in Koramangala 8th Block, Bengaluru, on Sunday morning. Police suspect the cause of death was a heart attack, though a post-mortem examination has been ordered to confirm the cause.

The deceased has been identified as Saleem Akbar, a resident of Virajpet in Kodagu district. He worked as a civil contractor and was also involved in the real estate business. According to police, Akbar regularly travelled between Virajpet and Bengaluru for business purposes and typically stayed at hotels during his visits. He had arrived in the city a few days prior to his death.

On Saturday night, Akbar parked his car in front of a hotel in Koramangala 8th Block. The following morning, a passerby noticed him lying motionless inside the vehicle and knocked on the door. Receiving no response, the passerby alerted the police, who arrived to find Akbar dead.

Officers noted no visible injury marks on the body, lending weight to the natural-causes theory. A case of unnatural death has been registered at Koramangala police station, and the body has been sent for post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.
