46-year-old man found dead inside luxury car parked on Koramangala road, Bengaluru

A 46-year-old man was found dead inside a luxury car parked on a main road in Koramangala, Bengaluru, on Sunday morning, police said. The deceased was identified as Salim Akbar, a native of Kodagu district.

Police received information around 8 am about a stationary luxury car with a man inside. A police team reached the spot and found Akbar unresponsive. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. His body was subsequently shifted for an autopsy.

Preliminary investigation, aided by CCTV footage from the area, indicated that the car had pulled over in front of a restaurant in Koramangala at approximately 2.30 am. Police said they suspect Akbar may have died due to health-related issues, though no foul play is suspected at this stage.

Scene-of-crime officers and forensic investigators examined the vehicle. Police have registered an unnatural death report, and the exact cause of death is expected to be established after forensic examination and autopsy reports are received.
