The Happy Streets event in Koramangala, Bengaluru, turned Veera Yodhara Vana Park and its surrounding streets into a lively community hub on Sunday. Organized by The Times of India and sponsored by Bhima Jewellers, the event attracted residents for a morning filled with fitness, cultural activities, and social interaction. The day began with a meditation session by Heartfulness, followed by yoga and pranayama sessions led by Sarvebhavanthu Sukhinah Yoga. Swingers Dance Inc energized participants with a Zumba session, appealing to all age groups.

As the morning progressed, the event featured music and interactive activities. Mic & Melody delivered a live performance, and From Mug to Mike engaged attendees with Kannada singing sessions. NeeRav Arts Village introduced traditional Mudgar exercises, which intrigued many visitors, including local resident Srinivas Rao. Alert NGO provided CPR awareness and training, equipping participants with essential emergency response skills.

The event also highlighted local enterprise and civic engagement. Street vendors offered Coorg avocados and passion fruit, while the Reclaim Constitution group distributed copies of the Constitution’s Preamble, sparking discussions on citizenship and shared values. The Postcrossing Welfare Society of India showcased philately and postcard exchanges, emphasizing the charm of handwritten communication.

The morning concluded with a martial arts demonstration by Aryan Martial Arts, where young karate practitioners impressed the audience by breaking clay tiles with their bare hands. The event successfully brought together fitness, fun, and community spirit in Koramangala.
