Kodagu man found dead inside parked luxury car in Koramangala 8th Block

A man from Karnataka's Kodagu district was found dead inside a luxury car parked in Koramangala 8th Block, Bengaluru, on Sunday morning. The deceased was identified as Salim, a Kodagu resident. Local residents noticed the unresponsive man inside the vehicle and alerted police, who arrived at the scene and confirmed his death before dispatching the body for a post-mortem examination.

Preliminary investigation established that the car had been parked in front of Sagar Fast Food in Koramangala 8th Block at approximately 2:30 am. Police verified this timing using CCTV footage from the area. The vehicle remained stationary at the location for several hours before Salim was discovered inside it.

Scene-of-crime personnel and forensic investigators examined the car as part of the initial inquiry. Police officials said preliminary indications pointed towards a possible health-related complication, but stressed that the exact cause of death could only be determined after post-mortem and forensic reports are received. No immediate signs of foul play were observed during the preliminary examination, and the case is not currently being treated as a suspected murder.

An unnatural death report has been registered in connection with the incident. Investigators are continuing to examine CCTV footage and other available evidence to trace Salim's movements prior to the car being parked in Koramangala. Salim's family members have been informed of his death and are travelling from Kodagu to Bengaluru to meet police and complete the necessary formalities.
