Man found dead inside parked Audi in Koramangala; police suspect health complications

A 46-year-old man identified as Salim Akbar, a native of Kodagu, was found dead inside a luxury Audi car parked on the main road in Koramangala, southeast Bengaluru, on Sunday morning, according to police.

Authorities were alerted around 8 am about the stationary vehicle located approximately 400 metres from the Koramangala police station. Officers arrived and found Akbar unresponsive inside the car. He was transported to a hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. The body was subsequently shifted for autopsy procedures.

Preliminary investigations, corroborated by CCTV footage, indicate that the Audi had pulled over in front of Sagar Fast Food in Koramangala 8th Block at around 2.30 am. Scene of crime officers and forensic investigators conducted a sweep of the vehicle.

"It is suspected that Akbar died due to health complications. However, only a detailed forensic and autopsy report will confirm this. As of now, no foul play is suspected," a police officer told Deccan Herald. Akbar's brother was informed and was expected to arrive for further procedures.

An unnatural death report has been registered and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
