Water Supply Restored in Anna Nagar After Pipeline Burst

Water supply has been restored in Anna Nagar, Kolathur, and parts of Ambattur after a six-day disruption due to a major pipeline burst near Puzhal. The burst affected 35 areas under Kolathur constituency and several localities in Ambattur and Anna Nagar zones. Emergency repairs were carried out on the 1,200mm diameter main pipeline along GNT Road. Metrowater deployed additional tanker lorries to manage the crisis, and normal distribution resumed late Sunday night.
