On May 29, heavy rain in Bengaluru led to flooding in several key areas, including Koramangala, MG Road, and UB City, causing significant traffic disruptions. Roads near Sony Signal in Koramangala were heavily waterlogged, slowing down vehicle movement. Similar conditions were reported on MG Road and surrounding areas, affecting thousands of commuters. UB City and other commercial areas also faced waterlogging, leading to traffic jams. The situation highlighted issues with the city's drainage and infrastructure, prompting public dissatisfaction. Greater Bengaluru Authority's Chief Commissioner Maheshwara Rao visited affected underpasses and directed officials to clear water swiftly.
