61-Year-Old Homeless Woman Gangraped in Velachery; Two Arrested

A 61-year-old mentally challenged homeless woman was gangraped in Velachery, Chennai. The incident occurred early Thursday morning near the Velachery bus stand. Two guest workers from Bihar, Mohammed Muttab and Mohammed Atheel, have been arrested. The victim was found with bloodstains and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police used CCTV footage to identify the suspects, who confessed to the crime. Further investigation is ongoing.
